Christopher Lewis, MD
Founder and President Dr. Lewis is a Family Physician working for Alliance Primary Care in his hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Harvard University in 1996. Upon returning home for medical school and residency at the University of Cincinnati, Dr. Lewis completed the International Health tract, was honored with the Intern of the Year award in 2001, and served as Chief Resident in 2002-2003. Dr. Lewis’s international health experience includes work in Honduras, El Salvador, Kenya, and Tanzania. He holds a faculty position with the University of Cincinnati’s Department of Family Medicine, and volunteers his time training undergraduates, medical students and medical residents. He has served as a local health expert on over 30 local news programs, and is on the board of directors of the West End Health Center in Cincinnati. Dr. Lewis is a diplomat of the American Board of Family Medicine, an active member of the American Academy of Family Medicine, and a committee chair of the Cincinnati Medical Association. He also coaches wrestling at his old high school and gives talks to public school students across Cincinnati about sexual health and responsibility. |

Adam Parrillo, PhD (ABD)
Vice President and Life Committee Liaison Adam is a Human Geographer with an an interest in the disparities of economic development. He has been involved in Cincinnati Metropolitan development issues in his capacity as consultant for the non-profit land conservancy, the Hillside Trust. Adam graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a B.S. in Geography in 2000, an M.A. in Human Geography in 2003, and in 2007 will complete research earning his Ph.D. in the Social Geography of Economic Development. He currently is a faculty member at Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia. |

Valencia Walker, MD
Secretary Dr. Walker graduated with honors from Florida A&M University prior to obtaining her medical degree from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. She completed her Pediatrics residency at LeBonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. From there Dr. Walker continued to pursue her medical training as a neonatology fellow at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Presently, she is continuing her medical career at Mattel's Children's Hospital at UCLA in Los Angeles, CA where she works as a neonatologist. |

Tanya Boyle, Esq
Assistant Secretary and Legal Counsel Tanya is an attorney in the Corporate Department of Kilpatrick Stockton LLP in Atlanta, Georgia. Her practice focuses on investment management including the representation of investment advisers and investment companies, mergers & acquisitions, securities regulation, and general corporate advice. She is legal counsel for Village Life Outreach Project, Inc., and Village Life Outreach Project, Inc. is a pro-bono client of Kilpatrick Stockton LLP. Ms. Boyle graduated from Harvard University with an A.B. in Psychology in 1999 and Georgetown University Law Center with a juris doctor in 2002. |

Liaison to SHED/Tanzania Sara is a Goshen College graduate with a BA in Business and an interest in creative writing and editing. She serves as a community liaison for Village Life Outreach Project and currently works in Chicago, IL in the business field. |

Jennifer Ernst, MD
Mosquito Net Project Director Jen received her BA in psychology from the University of Cincinnati and her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. She is currently in her 4th and final year of the combined Internal Medicine-Pediatrics residency program at University Hospital and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. She will serve as Chief Resident in the Internal Medicine residency program in 2007-2008 and then plans to provide primary care for children and adults in the Cincinnati area. |

R Brian Moore, MD
Health Committee Chair Dr. Moore is a Family Physician in private practice in Weaverville, NC He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology and Microbiology from the University of Georgia in Athens in 1998. He was awarded his M.D. at the Medical College of Georgia, in Augusta of 2002. Dr. Moore completed his residency training at Mountain Area Health Education Center in Asheville, NC and served there as a Junior Faculty member before starting his own practice. He led a committee to redesign the patient care model and reengineer the practice of medicine while at MAHEC and employs this new model in his current practice. He remains a Community Faculty member supervising medical students and residents for MAHEC and is a Diplomat of the American Board of Family Medicine. Brian became involved with VLOP in 2005 and has previously served as the Health Committee Chair. |

Jeff Perry, BA
Jeff graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1996 with a BBA in Finance and Business Economics. Since 1999 he has worked for Citigroup in Florence, KY, currently as a Senior Manager in the Business Planning and Analysis group. Jeff also enjoys working with kids, having worked with several organizations in the past, including a stint in 2004 living in the woods in a residential position as an Outdoor Youth Counselor at a therapeutic wilderness camp for at-risk kids in North Carolina. |

Sheeleah Prince, BA
Education Committee Liaison Sheeleah is a University of Cincinnati graduate with a BA in Communications and minor in Spanish. For the past two years, she has served as the Public Relations Specialist for Big Brothers and Big Sister of Warren and Clinton Counties. She has been instrumental in developing the VLOP's education initiatives. |
